Tail light tinting

I used that spray tint on my tail lights and it's gone all misty white as if there's some reaction. Can this be polished out? or do I have to strip it and start again?

The finish with VHT Nightshades looks like crap until you put a few coats of clearcoat over it. Perhaps it will work with the stuff you used?

I dunno... it's like I've got frost inside the paint... I'll get some pictures tonight.. but it's gone kinda white...

You didnt get the M.J.* tint did you? If so that explaines it.

take it off with gasoline then, on your first coat go thicker. i had the same problem, but mine came out much better the second time around. i actually only needed 2 coats and its very dark, so luckily i taped off the indented parts as well as the reverse lights on my 04 xlt

I might just take it off and save up for some smoked tails...
