OK, here's the deal. Some new dumb*ss moved into the apartment complex that I live in over the weekend and has decided to show his car as much as possible. The car is a couple years old Nissan Altima (black), tinted, nice rims, you get the picture. On the back however, he took off the metal lettering that said "Altima" and instead put
"IMAGE" in nice big letters.

This guy, though, in all his infinite wisdom, has been letting his car bump off and on all day long in the parking lot for the past two days. He just sits in his car and bumps at a volume that easily heard throughout the entire complex. At times he even leaves the car out there turned on while he away from it for 5-10 minutes at a time. God knows what he does when he is somewhere else.

To make matters worse, he started on Saturday morning at about 9AM and starting setting off a J**p's alarms over and over again. Did this guy get it, no. The J**ep's alarm went off, count them, 8 times on Saturday because of this guy. This, of course, continued throughout the day Sunday as well.:fire:

So, to my point, who wants to guess on how long before this guy's stereo/car is gone? Some people just dont get it. It's just as bad as putting car audio stickers all over there car and trying to say, "Look, look, I have car audio stuff to steal!!!!" OK, I'll stop my ranting.

p.s. has anyone complained to the office yet? i know that when i was young and living in a condo with my folks, the association used to call and ***** at my parents all the time about my noise (from my house and my car)

ask him to stop. if he doesnt, call the cops.
he'll get a ticket for noise pollution.

I'd give it 2 weeks tops but more than likely his stuff will be gone by this weekend.

Some people need to just grow up. It is not cool to floss like that. You are just asking for trouble.

Well I dunno how long it'll take, but someone that is that stupid, deserves to have his $hit stolen! Even round here, ya turn yer stereo down before ya park...

Whatever the case, I would definately do something about it. I would start off by reporting it to the complex office, then the cops.

I always turn my stuff down when I enter my addition, if I don't it makes my houses windows rattle and my folks don't like that.

just kidding , have you thought that mabey you could call the police and make a complaint? I still recommend kicking his ass though I'd say his system might make it two weeks, those people are pretty stupid who put stickers all over their cars and bump it loud.

There was a guy who would do pretty much the same thing in my apartment complex. To teach him a lesson, Every time he would start up I would grab my high power pellet gun with scope and use him for target practice . I think I hit around 10-15 times over the course of two weeks. He must of got the idea because I watched him from across the street one time. He opened his apartment door and poked his head out to look around. Then he ran as fast as he could to his car, only to drop his keys and have a fit tring to pick them up and open the car door. When he got in the car, he sat there for a good five minuets (with no stereo) catching his breath. I haven't heard a peep out of him or his car while in the apartment complex since.

UPDATE:

This guy never stopped. Everyday I heard his "IMAGE" and low and behold. It's gone. The stereo is toast. I walked out this morning to go to school and the moron's car had two windows bashed in, everything stripped, interior ripped
apart, and a mess to clean up.

Oh well, can't say I feel sorry for the guy. In fact, why be modest, I'm estatic. Only took 4 days. Hope he enjoyed it while he had because someone elses is now.

How about another bet? I'll bet within 1 month, insurance pending, he up and bumping again. In which case, I will take matters into my own hands. Bigtig, I like your idea. May just do a variation and shoot the car instead.
