Actually, let me change my answer, my least favorite type of drivers are WOMEN drivers.

Don't get me wrong, I know plenty of girls that are perfectly good drivers, but at the same time i know lots of teens and old people that are, just a lot more than women.

A few examples:

soccer moms: ALWAYS in a hurry to get everywhere, my mom is a perfect example of this

teenage girls: just as crazy as guys, my sister for example nearly totalled our surburban her FIRST time behind the wheel, in a freakin parking lot (hit a concrete light post in the middle of the lot, still don't know how)

other women: just don't have a firm grasp of reality when it comes to driving. Just 10 minutes ago some woman was driving behind me while i was going 75 and she was tailgating me! Never seen anything like it. I pulled off and she wizzed past me driving crazier than any teen i know. It was nuts. And i see stuff like that a lot.

Not to offend anyone, just saying what i see.

When I was young, I thought old people were bad drivers. Through the years I've learned that bad driving knows no age. Young or old doesn't make a difference. The young are impatient and fast, the old are slow and worried about their reaction times and capabilities. However, when it comes to women drivers none of the above applies. I don't care what age or amount of experience they have behind the wheel "BEWARE" True they have less accidents than men but if I had a dollar for every accident they have caused inadvertantly, I would be able to tell Donald Trump "YOU'RE FIRED".

icu400, was she driving a minivan?

oh, i got cut off by a woman in a minivan

imma teen, and both annoy me, but old people are 10 times worse. Theres nothing worse than an old person in a 1971 big body cadillac or somethin swervin out in front of me to do 20 miles under the speed limit. Yes you do have the riight to go under the limit. However, you should also be required to go atleast 5 under it (so if your goin 25 in a 45, your dumbass should get a ticket). And yes I do drive semi fast because i know i can do it. Ive only been driving a year, but Ive put 30000 miles on my truck (no its not a typo) driving all around suburban Houston. I know Im not the best driver, but I also know Im very far from a bad one. Besides, Ive learned to drive like that. I can handle driving 85 like most people drive 45. My aunt is a driving instructor and she tells me Im the best teen driver shes ever seen (yes watching me weave thru traffic and speed). I might speed past you or swerve around you, but i dont get anywhere near you. As long as your a courteous driver, I am one back. If im mashing 80 down a 1 lane and come up behind someone doing 5 under the speed limit, im not gonna ride there ass or try to pass them up all crazy. Im gonna wait till i get a chance to safely pass (even if that requires me whipping into one lane then back into anouther really fast) then do it. But if you get in front me and slow down or somethin, imma be right on your ass (i got a brushguard, you old ******* break check me i dare you). If i signal to get over and you try to speed up and not let me, I will swang in, even if it requires putting a inch between the car in front of me and the one behind me. But I dont drive crazy fast. At the most 20 over in residentials (only in extreme situations) i usually do about 5 over. But when i hit the freeway, IM GOOOOONE doin about 100 (thank god for my radar detector, which is ironically my most expensive mod to date). I do all this because i know i can. When i started, I drove so slow my family hated to ride with me (even my mom) cause i went to slow. Then as i gained EXPERIENCE and taught myself, i began to go faster.

But the most annoying people on the rodes are.....PEDESTRIANS! I cannot STAND dumbass people who think the road is for bikes and people on foot. IT IS FOR CARS. Specially round here where some people actually try and ride bikes down the street with traffick, signaling, stopping at turn lights, all that (in traffick mind you, as if they think there on a motorcycle). Theres been many an occasion where ive had to roll down the window as i passed and let them know what i think of this

I am 18, i know where you are coming from dude. I too drive 80+ on the freeway pretty frequently. But just don't think you are above what you are. People like us have been driving what, a year, 2? We feel confident in our abilities, but just don't let it go to your head dude. I had a blowout on an I-35 (in austin) a few days back going somewhere around 75 (can't quite remember) in the far left lane (out of 4) during lunch hour. I damn near wrecked my car because of it, but I managed to escape without a scratch. Pretty scary really, but it made me realize anything can happen. I agree with you, just be careful mate.

And as for pedestrians, god they are annoying. Today I was leaving school, and about 8 feet in front of me some stupid kid with his head down, oblivious to the world, walked out RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I had to break AND swerve not to hit him. Kid hardly looked up, I should go yell at him tomorrow.

But I still think women are the worst drivers ever :p

Define old please, chronological age is 56, pyhsical age is 77 due to ecsess's in my life, mental age is 18, i may be used, but I aint used up (Waylon Jenninigs)

since the defining characteristic of "old" people is: driving very slow, lets define old people as those of an age above oh, say, 40, that drive annoyingly less than the speed limit

that by the way does not include everyone above 40, just those that drive really slow above 40 (sort of like how teen does not include all teens, just those that drive wrecklessly and put others lives at risk as well as their own)

It seems that most people learn the most from mistakes. I know quite a bit about computers but I've ephed a lot of them up and had to figure out how to fix them. That's where I got most of the knowledge I have today. Like they say Wisdom is learning from someone elses mistakes and experience is learning on your own. Unfortunately most of us take the experiense route including me and insist on figuring it out by ourselves. Hence driving crazy and doing a lot of stupid things. I've been driving since I was 12 or 13 (a small farm in ND). I'm 22 years old now and after 10 years I am first now starting to slow down. So I guess I can't get pissed off at some teenager racing by me, cause it took me 10 years to figure it out. And I'm by no means old so I don't know what its like to be old so I can't say much about that either. But you can't change people by swearing at them and flipping them off.

Totally dude, I definately try not to hold grudges on the road. The only time I have ever flicked someone off on the road was when I was driving on a state highway with no dividing line except a turn lane and some tard turned right out in front of me, trying to cross the highway from the turn lane. I slammed on my brakes, honked, and just barely missed them since they had the sense to swerve out of the lane when they realized they did not have time to get passed me. I was not about to swerve because I would have rolled at 65 i'd wager, and I am not that stupid. But I did shoot that person, btw it was a woman, the traffic finger because that stunt could have gotten us both killed. Stupidest thing I have ever seen except for some other idiot trying to pass an 18 wheeler on a tall hill, and almost getting whacked at the top by another car, but we won't get into that.

I have seen so many terrible drivers in my driving days. A lot of things depend on location too. Different cities and states I have lived in have whole other styles of driving. Like in SO Cal a driver from north BC tried to literally run me off the road !!!TWICE!!!. I was in the right lane and he tried to merge from left to right while right beside me......wth. But as stated in a previous post, it really does not have an age defination. I have seen people through wide varieties of ages that were all the same.

What gets me the most is people who are about to turn off onto a side street or into a turn lane 25ft ahead in the road, BUT have to pull out from BEHIND you (doing the limit or even +) floor it, swerve back IN FRONT of you and then slam the breaks so they can safely make the turn. Of which would not have hindered them in any way if they had remained behind you for that other 20 ft before the turn.

I used to do a lot of freeway travel to make service calls for my job and I discovered that Semi-Truckers are the coolest drivers out there. You can get in a cluster of them doing 100 down the freeway making that nice draft that saves gas, and hide amoungst them when the radar gun is scanning around from that cop who is hiding just behind the next overpass.

Group travel is always good for this, even if you dont know the other drivers. You get a cluster of at least 4 or 5 and as long as you are all doing the same speed, nothing looks out of place. Plus stay in the middle of the group. The cop will 90% of the time bust the guy in the lead or the guy tailing.

A little off thread...

Would just like to emphasize on truckers a bit. Most truckers are paid by the job/mile. More jobs/miles = more money. So truckers often drive fast. But if you pay attention they are VERY traffic oriented.
Real life example. On numerous occasions I would be flying down the road doing 80+ or so in a 70 zone and a truckers would be behind me a few car lengths back and would flash his lights at to let me know a cop was up ahead. Most of them carry fuzz busters and are curteous enough to let other drivers know. Plus they run with cb's/long wave radios. So a guy five miles up will alert anyone listening of fuzz ahead.

So any current or previous truckers out ther, I solute you.....You have probably saved me hundred$ in traffic fines....lol

Old people for the way they drive (10 mph below speeding on left lane)
Teen people for the tacky looking car they drive.

Aw heck no! I'm 16 and drive a '92 XL that has like no rust. Then there's my '93 Limited, which suffers from typical rocker panel rust right now but is gonna get chopped and rewelded. I keep them waxed and washed and limit the bumper stickers.

Hey hey, don't be mad against US teens or old people. We all have Explorers (or mostly) and that's all that matters. If teens or old people are driving Blazers :shoot: or sumthin, then they're bad whether they made a driving mistake or not...

No, wait, driving anything other than an Explorer is a mistake...

No, wait, it's good they do so we can look good and make fun of them...

And for the most part it's teenage girls that are the worst. On their cell phones talking and not paying attention.

Aw heck yeah! Omg, fuzzy steering wheel covers and early 90s GM compacts seem to mix well with teen girls, at least at my high school.

Sorry about commenting a lot fo times about other comments

Then you've got teens who think that they are most capable drivers on the road.

You're dang right I'm capable! I've got a 4 wheel drive Explorer! Rick himself said the Explorer is capable.
