We are making a run at the Tellico ORV park on Dec 18th and 19th. It would be great to see some enthusiasts join us. But, before you commit, you should know a few things about Tellico. It is one of the best offroad spots in the country and by far the best on the east coast. Unfortunately, these are not trails for stock trucks. For a compact truck, I would not venture on it with anyhting less than 33's and for a fullsize, nothing less than 35's. You could get away with 33's on a fullsize if you have good undercarriage protection and a winch.
Wednessday the 18th and Thurs the 19th
We will meet at the McDonalds on 64 in Murphy. You can goto McDonald's web page for directions. We are going to leave McDonalds for the trails at 9:30 AM.
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.
Must have good working 4wd with low range. All vhicles are subject to tech inspection before the run!
Make sure to bring the proper recovery gear and trailside emergency stuff. Tools, spare parts, hi-lift, strap, CB radio, camera, and a good spirit are all things to bing. But, make sure to bring a few trash bags. I want to bring more out than we took in. Also, there is to be NO alcohol on the trails. We are going to have a bar b que for everyone back at my cabin Wed and maybe Thurs night. Bring something to throw on the grill and some "beverages".
