Ok, I'm about to change my water pump, but I have read alot of threads about this problem. Has anyone solved their temp gauge fluctuation with replacing the temperature sending unit with the F1SZ-10884-A part from Ford? I've read about this problem and apparently their are defective sending units.

I hadn't heard about the new part number. I'm definitely interested in hearing other peoples experience with this, as I have never solved the fluctuating temp readings on my '93.
