test drving a 91 X

I need help guys. I tested a 91 X today ( VERY seriously thinking of buying it) It was well maintained. It has an auto tranny.

Body: a few rust holes, not bad for year

Motor: runs good, but has some tapping..I was told that this was a simple thing such as rocker arms..(It taps all the time too)

cost 1500.00 CAN

is it a good buy?

wasnt this posted here before? i think we all said it was cool... as long as you know that it was good..... be prepared to spend some more $ though,..if there are serious problems with it.. and check the vehicle history such as accidents and stuff

I did post it before, but I had more info now.

anyone know anything about the rockers tapping? how expensive to fix?

Oh yeah..it has warn hubs too..the auto ones have been swicthed out.

Valvetrain tapping is very common with the OHV motor. If it's not that bad and not affecting anything else then don't do anything.
