;) I just want to thank everyone for their help in finding my entry key code. I did have a second key cut and programmed and also purchased a keyless remote fob. This is the 1st explorer i have owned and so far I LOVE It!! I did notice something strange today. As i was sitting waiting for my daughters bus to arrive, I kept hearing a slight chirping noise as the truck was idle. (When i say slight, i mean faint) It sounded almost like the horn but very faint. It was comming from the front of the vehicle. Any Ideas what this could be?

it might be the belt tensioner going bad

Its a 2001 Xlt with the 4.0 6cyl. I need to check this out a little more thorughly. It really did'nt sound like a belt (Not a slight squel is what i mean) It sounded my like a slight horn chirp. I just purchased the vehicle, It has 68,000 on it and have been running it for a week. But i have not heard this until today.
