Yes I have a trailer light converter in the jack panel as shown above where is the spot that you can run the wires under the truck? and also it didn't have the hitch but yet still has this do I have holes already there to mount a hitch ?

Is this a factory fog light harness?

both of these are just hanging there connected too nothing there right behind the bumper in front of the wheel wells...

and yes I do have a fog light switch wtf? why ford why...do you do this to me? lol

Yea it does look like the truck had fogs at one point. Use a multimeter to check if that is the fog light harness.

Yup looks like it came with fog lights and someone just put the non-fog valence on it.

I'd check the wiring to the fog light wires to see if you get voltage or just hit the lights and the fog switch and see if the amber light comes on.

The trailer light adaptor is an aftermarket add-on at some point. That allows for single red tailights to work as both stop/turn lights with the amber signal lights that we have.

Truck was probably in an accident and the fogs were eliminated as a cost saving repair.
Ford would never spend the $ to put in a switch & wiring on a truck w/no fogs.

There is a hole in the bumper for a trailer ball. Its a hitch bumper. Unless that has been changed also.

nope the ball on bumper are still there can't I just get a hitch from an x in the yard and it be a bolt on affair for mine??? no? / yes? maybe? some sleep? test tomorrow? okay i'm ranting sorry lol...

btw texan1 my amber light for the fog switch does come on when pressed lol so....what now to look for in the junkyard everyone?
