Hey guys i tried searching and didn't get to far. I know a lot of you have the clear corners but either leave the amber or paint them. I've been running the clear corners for a while with standard clear halogen bulbs from k-mart. I believe they were philips. I have passed quite a few cops(day or night) and they have not pulled me over. However, at night my clearcorners produce a "dirty" look as compared to my stock headlights underneath. This is due to the stock head bulbs and the cheap ones i bought at k-mart. The combination isn't bad but isn't good either. I've held off for awhile, but now with bad weather coming more and more these days i think that the combination of the dirty clears and normal headlights gives me less light. I've been trying to match bulbs for both the headlights and corners so i will have one universal crisp look. Have any of you succesfully found bulbs for headlights(9007) and clears(3157/192?) that are all the same? I haven't found much success yet. Otherwise do anyof you have pics with bulbs that are pretty close to looking the same together? I see PIAA has lots of 168 bulbs. They look like they would fit in the corner light or am i wrong? I know that I want to get brighter lights then stock headlights so i'm not sure what to get for the corners to match. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry for the long post.

I wanna get clear corners soon and was thinking about the same thing... I have slyvania cool blues and am looking for something to match. Do u think apc hyperwhites and polargs for the 194 would match?

Those chromax are silver but when lit up are blue right?

WHY do you guys want your clear corner "white" turn signal bulbs to match your headlights?

the brighter they get, the greater the chance for a ticket.
especially if your state does not allow white bulbs.

standard 3157 are 5/21 watt bulbs. when they flash they are brighter.

are you after the 'high'/flash to match your headlights or the standard 5 watt on setting?

Well originally i wanted my headlights and clearcorners all to match up but i don't think that's possible. I have all clear now with cheap kmart halogen bulbs by philips in the corners and they show up "dirty". It's not a clean look but i hate those ambers so that's why i did it. The cops have seen it and never pulled me over. I'm just going to try some superwhites for 194/3157 made by the same company. This should hopefully look crisper. I'll leave my old bulbs in the car in case i get pulled over.

yeah, i used the cheap bulbs from napa, direct replacements, but in clear instead of amber. when they flash, they are the same brightness as the headlights. it would look perfect if i could have them be bright all the time, and flash to dim when they were flashing instead of being dim all the time and flashing to bright...

well white bulbs r legal here so im fine. all i was tryin to do was match everything up. Having clear bulbs that look dirty or yellow defeats the purpose of having white bulbs... so i want something that is nice and white

yea but don't you think superwhites or something along those lines will look bright anyway. I'm going to buy some most likely and see the difference.

let me know if u get those superwhites and tell me how they turn out

will do! Will be ordering them sometime this week hopefully.

Well, on my X I don't have matching bulbs either, I tried but it's just not possible. The only bulbs that match are my license plate bulbs, side markers and my 194 bulbs that are on my clear corners. They all are Polarg Series, but the 3157 turn signal bulb is an Optimus bulb and it doesn't match the other bulbs at all, neither my headlights. I tried so hard and bought bulbs from different auto shops around my neighborhood and even online and got no close to matching at all, so I decided to sell them to my friend which he loves being colorful but the dumba** always gets a ticket. But the ones I have right now are the Optimus Hyperwhite which I bought from www.autodynamic.com and I planning to go to legal this December and I'm going to order the LED Amber bulbs which on clear corners it looks great because you can't see that orange ugly looking like if they were stock signal lamps, so I'm deciding to go to legal soon, probably about mid December....;) But trust me it is hard to match bulbs and have a clean look at night. My opinion:o

dont you need an amber reflector to be legal too?

No, I think that you don't need no amber reflector cause if you have amber flashing then you're ok. I think I'm cool if I have flashing amber.

oh, ive heard that you need an amber bulb and an amber reflector per side in the front. dont know if that is just ga or what.
