Thanks guys. I'll let you know how it goes. And yes, already had the blue painters tape ready. I see people use duct tape and shake my head. So, if I remove all and rework it outide the door, will the reinstall be easier, or the same? I imagine the cable tension fight will be fun either way, but at least I'd have a better chance of getting the cable routed the right way.

This may have been mentioned before elsewhere but just in case it is not.

I used a 2x4 that is 13.75" LG, may work better a touch longer and wedged it into between the window and the tube running through the door. I used a 2-3" screw to secure the wood to the window guide using one of the two conviently located holes. This, I am hoping, will prevent the wood from sliding out of place while going over bumps and eliminate the need for tape.
