one thing that i have think about latley is if the new ford 6.2l engin and tranny could fit in a third gen. what do you think? is it possible?

EDIT - oh and that rear axle is also going to have to go, replace with a 9"-IRS so you can use all that torque.

I normally think once engines get into the 6l range they should just be diesels. haha though I admit I have a soft spot for the raptor its just such an awesome truck. When do we get a raptor ranger haha.

dude...dont tempt me to save for YEARs to get the 6.2L DOHC and drop her into an explorer...JUST TO FIND OUT...might end up selling my trans am for such a project..ha...nvm.

please do it it would be one of the coolest trucks on this forum hands down. i kinda have a little dream to do a 6.2 swap and paint it that awesome raptor orange, get the same raptor graphics, same wheels, the fox racing shocks from the raptor, and maybe that awesome ford grill. i just think it would be cool to build a explorer raptor but i don't have that type of money so i guess it will just be a dream
