Third Generation Explorer headers?

Does anyone have any experience with 3rdGen X headers. I am looking at getting some but wondered if there worth the cash. Have catback already! Any feedback would be great. Searched in forums and only see bits of header talk and none on 3rd Generations. Thanks...

What is your primary goal in installing headers? I have been looking at doing the same on my 02 V6. However, I am looking for lower end improvements which calls for long primaries on the headers. All I can find are the "shorties" and I am not impressed with what I have seen, especially for the money they are asking. I have been working with some design software that shows primaries with a diameter of 1-1/2" and approx. 36" long will provide the best results. I guess I will be fabricating my own.
