Here is a few of me.

Wow, you guys both need to get some MTs

What are MTs? I have mud terrains if that's what it means.

I need a lift, bigger MTs and a winch.

Those look more like a semi-aggressive AT to me. A locker would help a lot more than bigger tires.

What's a locker?

They are MTs just not the best brand, I didn't want to spend too much because I planned on lifting it.

A locking differential. It locks your axles together for maximum traction. And open differential sends the power to the path of lease resistance, ie the wheel with the least amount of traction.

This vid is an ad for Eaton, but it shows how a locker works.

VIDEO

Call them what you want, but the tires on that X are all terrains.

Where do you guys on here get your lockers from? Is it just the rear diferential or the front too?

i have an Aussie locker for the 8.8 rear axle, my dana 35 front axle is still "open". search "locker" on this site and you will find a lot of good info

I have a Powertrax No-Slip. I found it on Ebay for 150. Score!

I am searching at the moment but i still want to ask questions. If I install a locker in the rear will I notice a difference on dry pavement?

You will notice a little difference. But its not a big deal with a lunchbox locker.

most lockers are built to "slip" when given enough force as in only when turning

the locker will give you the most difference when you need that extra power to keep from getting stuck

also, when going through deep muck... DON'T STOP OR SLOW DOWN, the second you sink, it's all over

can I has that Cummins when he breaks it in the mud?

wow, you guys are doomed lol. Did you guys get pulled out eventually?

The grounds around here are not holding up at all as well. It was raining for few days and all of the melted snow had affected the ground around here. A friend of mine went to mud bog recently and he said literally everyone got stuck on that day, there were so much mud and all that.

a locker does just that , locks the axles so they rotate the same, if the one tire spins the locker is broken,
it keeps power even between the back wheels all the time,,
of course on pavement it will allow ratcheting so that the axles do not break but as soon as the wheels turn the same speed as in going straight again or wheel slippage the locker does just that locks up, sending equal power to both wheels again,
