- 1994 Explorer
I have a 1994 Ford Explorer and am replacing the clutch. It appears several other things should be replaced since one is already there and I'm attempting to do just that. However I purchased a clutch slave that has a different throwout bearing on it, the Clutch Kit came with a TO Bearing identical to the one on the slave I'm replacing. My question is there are 3 clucth slaves, TO bearing installed, that Kragen states will work, I have one of them, though it don't have the free spinning washer as does the one I'm replacing. Does it really make a difference which of these three TO Bearings I use or is it just a manufacture issue and any one of them will work just the same? Thanks in advance. I hope someone out here can help me out. Thanks again... Sandflea
