I havr a 2002 Ford explorer xlt with 140,000 its a V6 and just recently at any speed while turning full it slightly or even in the middles there is a a vibration n the steering wheel and you can hear a Duh Duh Duh sound sort of like a thumpong I just rotated my tirws thinking it would go awa6 and it didnt its hard to explain the sound it happens while braking or not. I never had an alignkent on my tires there about 2 years old. I was think maybe suspension but I don't know its all stock any ideas where to start would be greatly appriceated! Thanks again!

Could be wheel bearing? Can you tell if it is coming from front or rear.

Yeah the left front it aounds like its getting louder and its almost like a roaring sound! How much would a wheel bearing run you

I've been driving alittle more today and it is straight tuened anyway so should I go to my mechanic and have him check it??

Same thing happened on my 2004 Mountaineer. The front left wheel bearing went. It did not make any noise when going straight, only when on the freeway changing lanes to the left. I installed a new one myself. Was not too expensive.

It was the front left wheel bearing tganks again guys its all better now!

i think i may be experiencing a wheel bearing issue as well ?

when im coasting to a stop or slowly getting on the gas from a stop, i hear a some sort of rubbing noise coming from the front of my X...

i hear " rub, rub, rub etc. " the faster im moving the faster the noise, and slower im moving the slower the noise...

i have no vibration of any kind in my stearing wheel

any thought ?

It's probably a wheel bearing i had similar issues jack it up and check the wheel for any play

ok warranty is up to bat lol...

guess im gonna get that looked at, and my faulty fuel pump sensor...
