2010 XLT, I'm getting a tick noise from left B pillar, sounds like its right in my ear. Happens a lot on gravel or rough roads about 15 mph but will happen randomly on smooth roads at all speeds.
I have removed the pillar trim parts so I can press or grab certain parts to isolate the noise. If I grab the upper seat belt guide above my shoulder and give it a hard pull either for or aft the noise will stop but if you just push your hand on it wont change anything. I can also remove the adjustable seat belt guide assembly and it still makes noise.
Could there be an issue with the pillar itself? Maybe a weld loose or something?
Thanks
