The front bumper of my '91 Navajo suddenly had a 1" downward tilt going from left to right when i looked at it today. Is there anyway to straighten that out without some major overhaul?

unless you hit something and did some damage to the bumper you should be able to losen the bolts behind the bumper that bolt to the frame realign it and tighten them back up.

Because of a small accident, I had a similar situation. I just got everything fixed last night. What Jacked93 says is right, there are a bunch of bolts that hold the bumper to the frame.

My mistake was trying to take the bumper right off, which I ended up doing. All you need to do is loosen the four bolts which control the vertical alignment of the bumper. Then get someone to hold it in position while you tighten the bolts again.

Now which 4 would control vertical alignment because i have 2 on the opposite far sides that i can't get a wrench or ratchet to, to save my life.

If you remove the valence and lower air deflector, you can get to all of them... as a matter of fact, I believe the bolts you need are behind the lower air deflector... it's held in place by two Phillips screws which are very easy to strip. It also clips in somehow... hard to explain, but it's not exactly brain surgery.

The screws you are looking for are the ones oriented in such a way that they point towards the wheels. You can see that they pass through slots... by adjusting where in the slots they sit and tightening, you should be able to get everything level again.
