Primary tensioner & guide replacement

It is not at all necessary to remove the engine to replace the primary (crankshaft to jackshaft) timing chain tensioner or guide. Nor is it necessary to retime the camshafts after replacement. I tried to make that clear in the thread I supplied a link to.

The parts needed:
Front timing cover gasket
Balancer retaining bolt
primary chain tensioner
primary chain guide

Ford part numbers for the above can be found at:
Requirements for accurate timing

Thanks again
Great info
