Thinking about putting 31x12.50's on my x with 4in sus lift. Anyone got this combo. I would like to see a pic and know if there are any rub issues with the tires.

31x12.50 that is an unusual size. do you mean 31x10.5? I had 31's on my stock explorer with no problem, so you shouldn't have any with a 4" lift. you can go to discount tire and they will mount one up and let you see how it looks before you buy.

There is a guy on here that is running 31x12.5's thornbirds with a 3" lift here is a link to one of his threads here

Thanks G-rigged!

That is exactly what im looking for! Love the way that looks. Dont think those meats will hurt the gas mileage any?? HA!

Just remember that 31x12.5s require new wheels. Don't plan on putting them on stock 15x7s.

Yeah, those tires are nice with the set up. And it did not ruin my fuel mileage by much, but only about 40 miles to the tank full. But make sure you get a 3.75 back spacing and you go to a 10 inch rim. I found out that a 8 inch rim is too narrow. and you will achieve an aweful lot of tire row side to side. But you will notice a great more cornering stability. Let me know how it goes.
