I have conducted some tests of different tire dressings and my findings are just about as expected. The one that takes the longest and is hardest to put on is the one that lasts the longest.
Meguiars Endurance outlasts(in order) Zaino, 303, Eagle One, Stoner & the other aerosol can types.
I havent tried Forever Black Tire Gel or the new Meguiars product.(cant remember the name)
If I have missed another good dressing, let me know.
Later....

What about Turle Wax's tire wax. I use it and love it. I've not used any other the others you've listed, so i can't compare.

i use some kind of tire shine that has a blue sparkle on it in the sun

If anybody knows of a NON-glossy tire dressing, please post it here. After scrubbing my tires, once they are dry, I go over them with Armor All. Ive heard this can be bad for the tires, but LOVE the non glossy, yet "taken care of" look it gives my tires...Any suggestions?

If you want your tires really really clean, get the Eagle One A2Z wheel cleaner. Get the orange bottle with a little tag that says something like "new improved formula". From what I found out, they not only clean the wheels very well, they also clean the tires with awesome results.

As for a non-glossy tire dressing? I use the Eagle One Tire Wet. Also get the Eagle One tire applicators. With the applicators, you get an even distribution of the dressing. The end result...a great looking tire without the gloss. It only gives a very slight hint of gloss. It has that nice sheen. Looks just like a brand new tire. Check those products out. You'll love it!

I have a few pics of my truck right after applying the EO Tire Wet dressing. Just scroll down toward the middle of the page and check out the tires.

Meguiars has more than one tire dressing and it says on the bottle how shiny it is...If you get the less shiny of the two and put it on real light its just a nice black look, not so wet like alot of the silicone based stuff that flings off.

The Endurance is great, its what they use at the carwash I go to, and what I use at home. Worst part about the spray on tire dressings is the first rain they're gone, even when the car still looks pretty good. The Endurance stays through a wash! It also doesnt spin off the tires, and its not airborne so it doesnt spot the freshly cleaned car up. The Turtle Wax product works very much the same way, I even use them on the black trim on the Explorer (mirrors, cowl etc).

If you want a low gloss satin look, use the Endurance with just one coat, its very satiny. The more coats, the more shine, and the High Gloss Endurance is very shiny.

As for the Tire Tint junk, don't. It sloughs off onto the paint and the metallic specs bond and are hard to get rid of.

I use the standard black magic tire foam. works well but if you don' t let it sit long enough you will see it on the side of your truck. i get it at walmart for cheap and it "cleans and shines" in 1 step. also works good under the hood makes the stuff look like new and well taken care off.

for some reason it looks 100 times better on our civic's yokohamas than my cheap wild countrys on the X

Now could you use one brand on each tire for a few years to see if one brand over the other causes the rubber to prematurely dryrot? I looked at the Meguires at the store today. Big warning on the can "contains acetone" I know acetone dries out and hardens rubber over time.

I have the EO Tire Wet and they're awesome. Like a said earlier...period. Haha...

Another Endurance user chiming in.

Great stuff and I have used several others.
The longevity of this stuff is what does it for me.

Mmmmmmmm smells like grape Kool-Aid.

I've used the EO Tire Wet, and I like it two except for two problems.

1. 1 week or first rain and its basically gone.
2. Its in an aerosol can so theres an overspray issue.

I have ino for quite some time but recently changed to 303 and it works ( and looks ) great.
