Tire help

Can anybody tell me what is the biggest size tire I can fit on my stock '92 rims without a lift or serious tire rub during moderate off-road conditions? Any help would be appreciated. Also, how would that affect the speedo and gear ratios? Thanks.

Probably 30 or 31x10.5. Every X is slightly different and some people rub a bit stock with 31s. Use the search engine and peruse the forums for more info, this question is asked often.
