2018 Explorer Platinum
Hello all.

New to the forum, but not to Explorers.

My wife has had a 2012, and current 2018 XLT with Sport Appearance Package.

I just got a 2018 Platinum last week after having a 9-7x for 12 years.

On my wife's XLT, she has the digital cluster (Type 2) that lets you see the tire pressure for each wheel along with other info.

On my Platinum (Type 3), I don't see any way to see the tire pressure in the vehicle without using the FordPass App. Am I missing something?

How does the XLT have the ability but not the Platinum? That seems kind of backwards.

I searched, but didn't find anything specific.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum Nate.
You should be able to access that through the settings. I had a 2017 Platinum and it had individual readouts.
From the manual;
You can view the tire pressure
readings through the information display.
See General Information (page 104).

It will be under 'Driver Assist'.

Oops!

There is a way to see it.

On the left side under the RPM gauge, you select "Driver Assist", then "Tire Pressure". For some reason I thought these were toggle settings, instead of view settings. It appears to be a combination.

Sorry for the wasted post.
🤦‍♂️
