Tire suggestion for stock ride height

Damn mount, and balance cost you 320 $ ????

wow didnt think it cost that much, but then again i didnt have to buy a new set of tires for my 03, cause it was totalled, and my 05 came with fresh brandnew tires 6 months ago...

I did 5 tires. The spare had a slashed sidewall. So its $164.00 mount and balance.

BFG All Terrain's man! You can't go wrong. They handle Michigan's snow mud and sand very well. I love mine. I don't think I will ever get a different tire.

For anyone who does any snow driving, stay away from the Pirelli Scorpion ATRs! I spent over $800 in September on them, and have had them in the snow 3 times now - each time has been a nightmare. I have never driven tires that lead to more "squirrely" behavior in snow - even nice fresh powder!

Had bald Goodyear Forterra's last winter that were much better in snow. I'm getting these removed ASAP... thankfully the shop I bought them at is willing to help. Just wanted to throw it out there though!

update: the tires were fine, but the rear wheels were way out of alignment. Well, the tires WERE fine, but now they've worn so unevenly they're destroyed... anyway, ignore this post - the Scorpions are fine, I just can't figure out how to delete it.

Old thread, but I'd throw in Falken Rocky Mountain ATS's. I've had these on my X for about a month now. They look awesome, handle snow great, and were pretty quiet on the roads when there was no snow. I have 255/65/17 on my truck and it's stock ride height.
