Just bought this, and will likely need new tires before winter. It has the 18" wheels. Just looking for good bang for the buck in an all-season tire. Won't be doing anything offroad, but we plan to tow a 5000-5500 lb trailer with it next year.

Recommendations?

So...nobody has replace their tires on an '06 Ex or Mounty?

Try B.F. Goodrich Rugged Trail, or maybe even the Long Trail.

Stock tire size is 235/65/18 and not a lot of tire companies make this size. Some that do that are not too expense:

BFG Long Trail Tour - blackwall only
Firestone Destination LE - OWL
General Grabber HTS - new release in this size

Tirerack website is helpfull for info.

Regards.

It currently has a set of Continentals (I forget the "model") in 245/60-18.
Maybe 2mm remaining before they hit the indicators. Also uneven wear, more on the inside. Will need an alignment when I get the tires.

Those Long Trails seem to be highly rated for moderate price.
Any complaints or praise from those who have them?

I've always used Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos. No complaints and perfect in the snow.
