To Amp or not to Amp?

So I was poking around in radio shak the other day and i come accros a 110 watt amp that was marked down from 100$ to 50$. I upgraded my speakers a while back ago so I know that my speakers could handle it. Im just wondering if thats a good deal for my money (im not looking to shake the whole block I just want a little more volume so I can hear my music on the highway). Also, apparently my X already has an amp so would I replace that amp or have 2 Amps. Im at college and have plenty of friends who can help me with the instal but they are not X owners. Well thanks for the help!

how many watts rms can you speakers handle? how large is your other amp?

I dont know the rmc of the speakers but they cast about 125 a pair. The other amp is the amp the explorer comes with. or at least i think it comes with
