top speed with 4x4 engaged

I have a 06 fx4 level2 5 speed automatic trans.Im trying to find out how fast can you drive with 4 high engaged with out blowing up the tranfercase.Called ford canada, was told they don't know!

I'm not sure if this helps, but my 2000 Sport has the auto 4x4, 4x4 high, 4x4 low. I've run it at 65 mph + for hours at a time in 4x4 high for the 6 years that I've had it and never had a problem. You might have a different style transfer case though.

Owners manual should have the info...but I think 4hi can be run/shifted at any speed.
