Alright everybody I know this has been beaten to death here but just have a few ?'s I put my truck on code reader at school ( due to flashing O/D light again) and it came up with " torque converter clutch slippage" stupid me didnt write down the actual code but that's what it was.
My question is, is there anything else that could cause this problem other than the TC?
getting ready to do TC replace and band adjust, and dont want to waste time and money if its not sure to fix the problem.

By the way the tranny works just fine accept that the TC doesnt like to lockup after the tranny warms up.

thanks il check it out. It happens randomly, sometimes it locks up and sometimes it doesnt. If i drive more than about 10-15 miles or drive it hard, the O/D lights starts flashing.

I also heard big power draws like subs or offroad lights (Anything that draws alot of juice) can cause it not to lock in.

I know mine doesnt lock in until im doing about 48 at least, and after about 5-6 minutes of driving, and 45 is the lowest I can go without it kicking off

I have no high power draw items at all, and run about 14.1-14.5 volts steady.
The engine is running between 190 and 200 degrees
Sometimes it locks up normally and the next stop it wont lock up at all?

Any other ideas before I go spend the money? checked the computer today, it operating correctly.
