torque converter solenoid

Well i wheeled my x a little too hard over the weekend and went scuba diving and hydro locked the motor this will be the 3rd motor ha ha well live and learn I guess ,but I figured since I got a big job ahead of me I should probably take care of some other problems.as well and I'm wondering if you have to drop the valve body to access the solenoid for torque converter lock up.

No, you don't need to pull the valve body for the TCC solenoid.
 












It's located on the drivers side of the valve body, the one farthest towards the front.(IIRC)

You should seriously consider fitting a snorkel to the intake.
Don't forget to extend the breathers for the diffs, trans and probably the transfer case.
