anyone know what the hub bolts torque spec is? I want to make sure I got it right. Right front was howling, thought it was the brakes until I tried to turn it by hand.

Isn't 184 the torque spec for the axle nut? The hub bolts torque spec shows as 83 ft-lb in my Chilton manual.

Ouch! Thanks fordysenior, that would have been a TOTAL fail at more than twice the torque spec. Removed from post.

:chug:

I've been checking into doing my right front hub lately due to a rattle I've heard -- turns out it may be my pads of the parking brakes were broken loose. I replaced the pads and haven't heard the rattle lately. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I guess I was pretty close as I torqued them to 80 ftlb. Thanks guys.
