I did the TT on my X yesterday. Before I started I measured the fender wells to see how high it was to begin with. I was suprised to find out that the passenger side was one and a quarter inches higher than the drivers side! So I decided to raise the drivers side to match the passenger side and then start the TT from their. Ended up having to torque the drivers-side torsion bolt all the way for it to match the passenger side. So now I have about a 1/2 in. difference between the two bolts. But the front is now level and the height on both sides is 34 1/2 in. Is this normal?? Or is their something worng with the drivers side torsion bar? I mean I could probably torque the passenger side up to almost 37" still if I wanted... Has anyone else experienced this while doing the TT?

yup...very normal. Check it again in a few days, It will probably change again.

Ok cool. Yeah I figured I would give it a couple days to settle. Anyone think it a wise idea to get a bigger bolt for the drivers side?? I have 34 1/2 inches on the front and 35 1/2 inches in the back with the WARs. And I would like them both front and back to be even. Their doesn't seem to be any accesive pinching on the CV boot...

Can anyone tell me what height in inches they got after compeleting there TT twist? I know everyone's should be slightly different but was just curious about a ballpark figure. Thanks.

just a wild guess, but perhaps it's also due to the gas tank being on the driver's side?

mine has the gas tank on the right side and i sit on the right side but mine don't do that. sad to say, it is normal though. it's quality job 1 at ford.

Yeah, it's the same on mine too. I'm a big guy but I ain't that big.;)

I think I'm just going to get a longer bolt for that side a torque it up 1 more inch. Just to get the back and front even...
