My truck has literally been in the shop for 10-15 days of the past 30 on 3 seperate occasions.

First a re-rebuild of the tranny cause it wasnt done right, then a second brake job, b/c that wasnt done right (the calipers were fried this time too), and now my truck is back in for more **** with the 4x4 (possibly more than the hubs?) oh, and I think my rear is starting to make a clunking sound too.

Its not like im going to one shop thats doing bad work, i just have bad luck. The dealership did teh brakes, and one of the best tranny shops which a friend of the family works at did the tranny.

my parents are sick of the car, im sick of the car, im getting a new one, i have the worst luck with used cars. Since '99 when I first got my firebird, about $4000 was spent in repairs for that car, plus the value of the car @ $4000... Then I got my explorer, $10,400. plus another 3-4k for repairs thus far, and being out a car for a significant ammt of time. If I wouldve just gotten a new car from the start, I couldve had a $22k car paid cash! I hate used cars. im done w. my rant
