Touch Up Paint and Paint Codes

2012 touch up paint

I have searched but can't find a place that sells touch up paint for my 2012. The Paint code is RZ (candy red). I assume the dealer has it but it's a two hour round trip. Anyone have a source?

Dr colorchip has your color. It's $40 for the paint, brush, and sealact. With dr colorchip you can "erase" the paint with the sealact. I purchased it for my 2000 explorer and it's the only touch up paint I use when detailing a car that the customer has asked to have paint chips fixed on. It'll also last longer than the dealer paint and is much easier to work with. Just go to drcolorchip.com. (Hope I can post this without any issues)

Thanks for the link. I assume it is safe to wax after the repair?

Yes! But I would suggest you use paint sealant as it lasts much longer than wax and is a much better product. Though sealant does take slightly longer to apply correctly as it needs to sit on the car for a minimum of 20 minutes (at least thats what I prefer).
