I have a question. i have a 98 xlt awd v8 and want to tow a small mitsubishi galant. i have the towing package with 3.73 L/S rear. I want to get one of those two wheel dollies for the car. does anyone know if this is too much for the truck. it says the weight limit is 5000 weight bearing and over 6500 weight distributing. any help would be greatly appreceiated. thank you.. sorry about spelling

Looks like you can pull 6460 LBS as long as you have a weight distributung hitch AND the combined weight of the Explorer, the galant, the trailer, plus any cargo and persons on board does not exceed 11,000 LBS.
If you are alone, It looks like you could put another explorer on a trailer and tow it around.
