TPS question

I need to get a new TPS for my 1998 SOHC. I have been offered a TPS allegedly from a 1993 SOHC. The part number for this is F4SZ-9B89-AA off the box. Ford UK do not recognise this part number and can only give me a 7 number part number. Does anyone know if this is the right part for my 1998? I was under the impression the SOHC was not available in 1993 so I wonder if he has the year wrong or the engine wrong?

Any help would be great.

The SOHC wasn't offered in 93, so something isn't right. Here is a link to a replacement, the part number is 9B989AA

I would recommend getting a new one from a Ford dealer.

Check the part # on your TPS for a comparison. Another place to look up the part # is on WWW.PartsVoice.Com.

That one won't work it's for the OHV v6, you have the SOHC v6, in my above post the ford part number is listed.
