Traded In 03 - great vehicle

Last week we traded in my wifes 03 XLT. (still have the 08 limited). we were the second owner picking it up in 2/07 with 47k miles. Traded it with 91k miles with only routine maintenance and a set of rear coils. great vehicle that served us very well. got what i feel was a fair trade ($5500) on an 11 nissan frontier crew cab pro-4x. given what we paid for the explorer and our trade in amount, the explorer cost us only about $6k for 4 1/2 years of service.

keep your eye out at auction or on a used car lot for a clean 03 estate green metallic xlt, it would be a good find!

I just bought our 04 XLS, 4x4/AWD with 23,500 miles on it for $8700. Higher than Edmunds valuation, but I felt that the low mileage made it a good deal. Hoping it turns out to be a good and reliable SUV.
