Whilst on the way to work this morning I pulled up next to a new Focus ST..

When the lights changed to amber, we both nailed it.. I managed to get traction first and left him for dead... hehe

Next set of lights I'm next to a Seat Leon Cupra R with mr ASBO behind him...

Again, I got traction first and left both of them red faced...

looks like we're not so bad after all!!

I could have done the same with my old '98 Ex but sadly the North Face is just too sluggish off the mark to make any decent impression. Once it gets up to 15 / 20mph it sets off like stuff off a shovel...
I keep intending to take it into Ford for it's first ever 'main dealer' service but I don't have a great deal of faith in them sorting out any problems. According to the truck's service history it was supplied new by car supermarket outfit 'Carcraft' and they did the first couple of services. The other service stamps are from independent (i.e. non-Ford) garages. I know I really ought to take it to Ford to get them to check for any outstanding recall work, error codes, and to erase any keys and keyfobs not in my posession from the memory. But I get a sharp pain in my pocket every time I think about it... There it goes again!
