There should be a pigtail with a red rubber cap behind the bumper/driver's side tail light - crawl under the truck and look up. It should be easy to see. Hoppy sells a direct connection to a 4 pin. You'll have to tap into the wires if you want a 5-7 pin connection.

Trailer lights connection

I have a 98 and I did this back in 98.
I purchase a short pigtail from Ford ($14 I think)that ended in a flat 4 connector. It connected inside the rear where the jack is stored. Then went out a plug hole, the kit had the grommit to re-seal the hole. THe kit also had a mount for the 4 pin connector.

It was a cheap, easy, 10 min job.

alright thanks guys, ill jus goto my local ford dealer and get that pigtail thing

You can get it for $12 at Walmart or AutoZone if they don't have it.
