It all went in like cake man.
B&M Tranny cooler and Perma-Cool filter / guage kit.
I did not run the guage just yet. I did not have the time today.
Any way. Fabracating the brackets was the only time consuming part. With the front bumper off every thing is so acessable it is cake.
The filter is mounted just below the factory cooler and the B&M is to the left of that.
Two hours invested. Between what ended up on the floor and the extra space with the filter and cooler it took an extra quart and a half.

It all hides well behing the bumper and the filter is still acessable for changes.

Thanks for those of you who gave me pointers and stuff on this some months back.

Nice job, MONMIX! But a picture of it would be nice. :)

Btw, how hard is it to remove the bumper?

I'll draw you a pic !
:)

Bumper removal is the easyest part.

4 18mm bolts.
Removing them by hand will be a pain so eat your Wheaties. I am fortunate to have an impact.

I did not take my digital camera to the shop with me.
When I wire up the guage ( some time soon ??? )
I will snap a few. Unless you want to look through my bumper.

Since you have seen what it looks like underneath that bumper maybe you could help me with this little project I have in mind. How hard is it to move the bumper .5" up to eliminate the 1" clearance between the top of stock bumper and the bottom of the front of the truck just below the grille? Is there any adjustment there for the bolts to screw in or do I have to drill new holes?

all you need to do is slightly loosen all 4 bolts, push up, and re-tighten. i did this on mine when i put it back on. plan on it taking several "adjustments" to get it right.

Thanks for the assist James T.

Wow, almost sounds too easy... thanks! :D
