Tranny gone?

My 1993 Explorer tranny has been slipping for awhile now, and with about 160,000 on it, I'm not surprised. Today, when I put it in Drive, it wants to stall. Putting it in a lower gear helps, but it appears to be slipping bad. Have I pretty much lost the tranny?

Yep,when it starts slipping it is the beginning of the end.Welcome to the tranny club,it just cost me $2300 for my 94......lucky guy.
