tranny problem

my transmission started acting up the other day.it started to not shift out of 1st gear,it would stay there till i let off a little,then it would shift.then today the OD light started blinking non-stop.i checked the fluid and its right there.under power it doesnt slip or anything. my truck is a 95 2WD with 67,000 on it .

Tranny problems

When did you last have tranny fluid changed? You can have it flushed. Or you can have the pan dropped. The filter can be changed, but the flush machine will most likely measure tranny pressure at idle- in park. Less than 12 p.s.i and the filter is clogged.
