Tranny Question

If im driving down the road at any speed and I decide to floor it and my tranny doesn't downshift just takes off from the gear its in whats the problem? How come it wont downshift?

Are ya getting a CEL? ...

Mine did the same thing when the TPS went south...easy enough fix for sure, it didn't throw a CEL, but a code was set. Take it to autozone and see if they can get a code out of it....

What is a CEL? Also where is the TPS located and how would I test to see if its bad?
