tranny to t-case gasket

I removed my transfer case and the gasket that goes between the extension housing and transfer case fell apart. Where can I get a new one or can I just use rtv? Also what would be the best way to remove the stuck on gasket from the 2 surfaces?

They sell gasket dcrapers, but I think I just used a razor blade.
I think I had to go to the dealer to get the gasket, it's been a couple years, so I don't remember.

I just used RTV on mine.

Like I've said before, the M5OD doesn't need a gasket, it wont even seal it because of the channel they cut in the bottom of the flange to let any fluids that might end up the extension housing drain out.
