Any Transmission experts out there?

I have 2001 Explorer 4.0l SOHC with Auto trans that has a squeaky noise that follows engine RPM. I can't really hear it when standing in front with the hood up. I have removed the serpentine belt and the noise is still present. It will squeak in any gear including Park, moving or stopped, cold or warm. It sounds loadest when listening underneth from behind front tires. Could it be the trans fluid pump? What does a clogged Trans filter sound like? It seems to run fine other than the squeak. Just to reiterate it is engine RPM related not vehicle speed. Thanks.
