I have a 1997 explorer xlt ,auto on demand, auto, low ,hi, switch.had problem with popping found a good thread on here with pics on how to rebuild and get parts for TC.worked out great new problem 4.0 sohc 197000 plus miles.when put
in reverse sounds like park pin trying to set on rolling car or a electric motor kicking in and out go down road let off gas get the same noise, motor has to be reved up to 1000 rpm and other foot on break to make noise go away.
could this be trans selector switch or neutral safty switch or speed sensor?
any advice apreciated. Thank You
