trans seems to have weird shift points

Ok I have been having this intermittent problem that happens when slowing down for a red light or to make a turn, when i slow down to about 15 mph and i believe that the trans shifts into first gear, after i get back on the gas it feels like the transmission should have stayed in 2nd because the vehicle is moving too fast and the transmission is trying to catch up quickly causing a sort of rough few shifts.

Also sometimes as I am accelerating and i give it more gas you would expect the transmission to hold the current gear but it upshifts at what seems like the wrong time, feels like the shift points are off or something but i cant figure out what could cause this.

MINE DOES THE SAME EXACT THING. I just kind of assumed this was normal (this is my first automatic in... wow.. 10 years??) but it's kind of acting up a bit more... hoping a fluid and filter change fixes this...

Check the throttle position sensor.
