I found out today while reinstalling the transfer case, that this loud clunking noise that I have been hearing for awhile now, is coming from inside the transfer case.
Basicly the noise is a pretty loud clack noise when ever you turn either yoke and then change directions. It happens in all gears that I can tell, 4hi 4lo and 2wd. I have gotten used to this noise, but would like to see about fixing it. I dont understand how something can be damaged or broke in a 104K mile truck that rarely sees 4wd, like twice a year, long enough to turn everything over.
