Transgo shift kit

Ok I am a newbie here and I have searched and searched. I am looking for a copy of Transgo SK44-55E shift kit instructions. I am rebuilding transmission that has shift kit but I need information about unique adjustments, springs, ect.

That is awesome link, but since he chose not to use Transgo kit so he does not show install of springs, band ajustment, etc. I do know that Trango uses different intermediate band adjustment.

I have the A4 Transgo instructions. Give me a minute to pull them out. Should be the same, bands are interchangeable IIRC.

For the intermediate band:
- tighten the band until the driveshaft (or output shaft) will not turn in one direction
- loosen the adjustment until shaft will turn by hand
- loosen the adjustment 3/4 turn and tighten the lock nut

Sorry dude, all my info is A4 specific. The A4 is hydraulic except for the converter clutch solenoid and OD solenoid. Your trans is all computer controlled. Some hard parts are the same but the valve bodies are very different.

CDW6212R may be able to assist? Don's very helpful and I believe he may have installed this before.

Rebuilt transmission and transfer case and all is working well. Hopefully I am done for now.
