Where can I purchase new transmission cooler lines. I'm struggling and have been researching for days just going in circles. It's a 92 explorer sport. Please just post a legitimate link. I just need a new line that connects to the upper part of the radiator.

I think you will have to make your own cooler line. I haven't seen a pre-made replacement for a 1st generation Explorer in long time. It's 3/8" cooler line.

Are they not similar to 97 trans cooler lines?

There are some flexible universal stainless braided trans cooler lines out there,
maybe it's an option. If fittings will fit, why not.

Any explorer 95-2001 or ranger 98-11 v6 will have the same lines.

And first gen explorer translines are different?

I’m not sure if the a4ld still uses the same fitting at the trans so I left them out

Anything with a 4r55e or 5r55e the lines are the same so any 98-11 ranger any 95-01 explorer any 01-04 sport or sport trac all the same lines. I have a stack of them but not worth shipping

Not possible (for me) to find first gen oem numbers for those trans lines.
Not all first gen's have an oem additional trans cooler in Germany, think
maybe with a towing package. Most guys put in additional and bigger coolers
to keep the temperature as cold as possible.

Not all Gen ii had a aux cooler either
May of them were shipped with only the small radiator trans cooler

I like to bypass the small radiator trans cooler and run two aux coolers instead
