Maybe this is a stupid question, but I don't know the answer so here it goes lol. I am going to put a transmission gauge in to check out my tranny temp during off roading and plowing, my quesion is what should the temp range be for the gauge? I have seen 150-300, 150-250, 100-250, and 100-300 degrees. Which one is the best to get? Thanks everyone:thumbsup:

yea I think an electrical analog will work and I don't want to spend the big bucks for a digital. What is the normal temperature range for a transmission? Also around where is the overheating point? Thanks!

Thanks I checked them all out except number 2 did not show up. So it seems like the trans temp should always be lower than 200. now I'll know if I have an issue if its running higher than that once I get the gauge in. Thanks again!
