i bought the car with a tranny problem. the guy that i bought it from said he can drive it 30-40 miles with no problems after that it would slip on a small hill near his house. i drove it about 10 miles so far and all i found is it shuttered on me taking off from a stop light. he said he had the fluid flushed or changed about 8 months ago. car has 124k on it. 4x4 97 4.0. the person that changed the fluid said there weren't any metal shavings in the pan. any ideas??
